01

From three agents to a partner group

The group started in 2017 with three agents in Edmonton and had grown to ten by the end of 2021. In January 2022 it adopted the Elevate Realty Group name, built around higher service standards, shared systems, collaboration and community involvement.

Today the group is a roster of real estate partners supported by client care operations and a mortgage specialist, covering Edmonton and the surrounding region.

02

Operating under Real Broker

Elevate joined Real in 2022, giving the team a modern brokerage platform, technology and a national network of agents to collaborate with. Paul is the advisor, Elevate is the team and Real Broker is the brokerage.

03

What the team adds to a luxury file

Shared systems mean showings, feedback, documentation and communication keep moving even when a single calendar is full. Colleague perspective adds a second read on pricing and buyer behaviour before decisions are made.

The partners a client will actually work with are named at the start of the engagement, alongside the vendors — photographers, stagers, inspectors, appraisers — brought in for the property plan.

04

Decision frame: working with Paul and the Elevate team

Elevate Realty Group is the Edmonton team behind Paul: real estate partners, client care operations and mortgage support, operating under Real Broker since 2022 after starting as a three-agent group in 2017.

Define the decision in writing before tactics begin. Record the people affected, the property or relationship in scope, timing constraints, information already known and the decision that must be made next. For working with paul and the elevate team, a useful brief also states what a successful process must protect—not just the hoped-for result.

05

The evidence file

The team contributes shared systems, coverage, marketing execution and a second read on pricing and buyer behaviour. Paul remains the advisor accountable for the file and the decisions on it.

Separate source documents from summaries and interpretation. Note who produced each item, what date or period it covers, whether it describes Paul, Elevate, the brokerage, the property or a third party, and what remains uncertain. That makes later recommendations traceable and prevents a convenient number from carrying more weight than its source allows.

06

Trade-offs worth naming early

Team depth only helps when responsibility is clear. Clients should know who advises, who coordinates, who receives confidential information and how urgent decisions reach Paul directly.

A sophisticated plan rarely removes every risk. It identifies which uncertainty can be investigated, which can be managed through terms or sequencing, which may be reflected in price and which should remain a reason to pause. Naming those categories early reduces the chance that urgency, presentation or sunk cost quietly changes the client’s standard.

07

A working sequence

Name the working group at the start, agree how showings and feedback are reported, confirm which vendors are engaged for the property plan, and keep one accountable point of contact throughout.

Each stage should end with a visible decision: proceed, revise the brief, request a specialist, change the timing or stop. Responsibilities and approvals should be explicit. The sequence may compress when circumstances require it, but compression should be acknowledged so the client understands which work has been completed and which uncertainty remains.

08

Questions for the first conversation

A considered first conversation is more useful when the unresolved questions are visible. The purpose is not to force an immediate commitment; it is to determine whether the advisor’s method, scope and evidence standard fit the decision.

  • Who is the primary advisor?
  • Who coordinates appointments and feedback?
  • Which partners support the file?
  • How is confidential information handled?
  • How do urgent decisions reach Paul?
